FAQ

New to a beer festival?  Here’s a quick summary of how it works:

When you arrive at the entry gate location, please present your ticket along with your ID if requested/required to gain access to the event.  Inside the festival grounds you will receive your sample glass and tokens.  Mix, mingle, and sample beer/cider from our roster of fabulous vendors.  Glass rinsing stations will be available to clean your glass between samples.

Most beers/ciders will require only 1 token per sample. Some, due to higher cost ingredients, may require 2 tokens.  Food, water and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase with tokens.  Vendors will display token rates.  Extra tokens are available for $2 on-site.

Vote for People’s Choice, sample a hard to find one-off, chat with fellow beer enthusiasts, or take your first sip into the craft beer world.  Please ensure you have a safe way to get home.  Designated Driver services will be available.

Event will run rain or shine … Please enjoy responsibly!

I am not bringing a DD, will there be DD services on-site?
Yes, we have numbers to a few DD services, we can help arrange this for you at the entry gate.  Please get home safe!

Seating is available inside Buster Rhino’s restaurant and on the patio.  Due to space constraints we won’t have any additional seating on Ontario Street, but we will have a number of bar tables set up to allow you space to lean, mingle and put stuff down.

Do I need to print and bring my e-ticket if I purchase it on-line, or can I bring a copy on my phone?
Either will work, but please bring at least one version.  We will have a list of names/ticket numbers at the gate for verification of tickets purchased on-line.

Are tickets refundable/transferable?  What if I buy 4 tickets and only 3 can make it?
Tickets are non-refundable.  You may transfer tickets, but please remember the name they were originally purchased under so we can verify their authenticity.  If one in your party cannot make it, tokens associated with that ticket can be shared among others in your party.  Bringing the extra ticket with you, if possible, would be best. The sample glass is also yours to take home, however we request this remains at the gate and can be picked up on exit.
